Archbishop Raymond L. Burke, National Director of the Marian Catechist Apostolate, welcomes you to the Marian Catechist web site, and invites men and women interested in committed service to the Catholic faith to consider catechist formation in the Marian Catechist Apostolate. The best place to start is to understand why we become Marian Catechists.
We suggest you begin with our overall mission. Read Archbishop Burke's essay, Re-Christianize America.
» Most people considering becoming a Marian Catechist have many questions. We invite you to look at these articles:
| Father John A. Hardon, Master Catechist | Blessed Mother Teresa Uses Father Hardon’s Courses | Holy Rosary, School of the Marian Catechist Apostolate |

At that point, if you sense that the Holy Spirit might be calling you to become a Marian Catechist, you can read about the requirements in Formation of Marian Catechists.
These requirements are explained as part of of a comprehensive look at the Apostolate and its goals in the Marian Catechist Manual.
Inquirers who are prepared to go forward with Marian Catechist formation are invited to print out the Annual Membership Application. Complete it and return it to the National Office, and start the courses by ordering materials from Eternal Life.
If you have questions, read the Questions Commonly Asked. If the answers you seek are not there, please write to the National Coordinator.
