Carole Breslin

Carole is a Marian Catechist who lives near Ann Arbor, Michigan with her husband and four home-educated daughters Sarah, Teresa, Mary, and Karen. She lived in Malaysia as a Peace Corps Volunteer for three years followed by three more years resettling Vietnamese Boat People. She met her husband while working on her Masters degree in Accounting and Organizational Development at the University of Michigan. The past ten years she and her husband have assisted Fr. John A. Hardon, S.J. with publishing a number of his books including Retreat with the Lord and his best selling Father Hardon's Catholic Prayer Book with Meditations. They have also worked closely with Fr. Hardon developing the Marian Catechist apostolate. Carole is also the treasurer for the Michigan Catholic Home-Educators, which sponsors an annual conference and book fair attended by people from the Midwest and Canada. Her articles have appeared in the Homiletic and Pastoral Review, the Marian Catechist Newsletter, and Opus Gloriae, the quarterly newsletter for the Michigan Catholic Home Educators.

Carole has graciously shared with us four of her poems: I Was There, Mary Teach Me How to Pray, The Romance, and Wits End.
