Kathryn Mulderink is a Marian Catechist who lives in a small town in western Michigan, where she raises her seven children, home-schooling all who are old enough. Her main writing focus has been education and family life, as she has an English literature degree and was trained to be a teacher. She has spoken at several homeschooling conferences, and published several editorial on education and family life, as well as poetry and some shorter pieces for local newspapers. She has edited and written regular columns for three monthly newsletters: Link News, focusing on educational and social issues for the Michigan Parent Action Group; Opus Gloriae, the newsletter for the Michigan Catholic Home-Educators; and Immaculata News, a parent newsletter for the private elementary school of which she was a founding member and principal for three years.
Kathryn has a new book of her poems, called To
Sing You Must Exhale, with a foreword by Marty
Barrack.
